In just one year, a new and modern business park has been established on Chemijos Street in Kaujnas. An abandoned area in Kaunas' industrial district has been transformed beyond recognition, and we invite small businesses to unite in this new space.

This 7-building complex covers more than 6,000 square meters and features 25 kilometers of process control cables laid out across 120 business units. It has become this year's largest project for Nordspace. The entire project, from site selection of the former dilapidated industrial buildings to the opening of tenant spaces, took just over a year to complete. During this process, 200 tonnes of scrap metal were recycled, and the demolished concrete structures were processed and repurposed for the foundations of the new facility.

Partners we trust

"This project would not have been as successful if we had not chosen the right partners from the start. The deadline was ambitious and somewhat daunting—we aimed to build our largest project from the ground up in just one year. The Nordspace concept focuses not only on intelligence but also on quality and speed on site, which ensures we deliver the highest quality technological solutions. This advantage saves valuable time for our tenants and small entrepreneurs," says Saulius Stasiukynas, Head of Real Estate Development Projects at Nordspace, reflecting on the successful project.

The timeline was successfully met by experienced industry players, including the general contractor Mana Ranga, gate system supplier Hormann, and Telia, the telecommunications company that provided fibre-optic internet solutions to ensure the smooth operation of smart processes. Security services were provided by Ekskomisarų biuras.

Strategically located with high interest

"Chemijos Street in Kaunas was chosen for a reason: it is one of the busiest locations in the city's industrial district and provides convenient access to all areas. In developing the Nordspace concept, both in Lithuania and abroad, we focus on local convenience and infrastructure. Our goal is to offer our clients the best location options, and considering the current interest, we can already see that this solution has proven to be effective," says Mindaugas Butnorius, co-founder of Nordspace.

The new project complements Nordspace's already completed and successfully operating business park on Marvelės Street in Kaunas. Currently, Nordspace manages 11 business parks in Lithuania, Latvia, and Poland. In Latvia and Poland, three new business parks are under construction and are scheduled to open early next year. Additionally, the search for development sites is ongoing in both countries.
